I don’t think that my life is fulfilled. I feel a great vacuum in my life. I cannot say that I am unhappy and unsatisfied. But I have a lot to be fulfilled. His preachings are simple and easy to understand. The some total of his teachings is to love God first and then love others in the name of God. He is believed as the Son of God by a sizable portion of the world population. He fought against corruption and hypocrisy. He was against misuse of power. He criticized the misdeeds and wrong living of the clergy. He was crucified for this heroism. He lived a simple life. He was on the side of the poor and downtrodden.

End of life can be perceived as either good or bad. End of something may mean beginning of new. When it comes to your own life, there is nothing as devastating as that. When you know that your life is going to end shortly, you may turn spiritual. Values of life acquire top priority and you want to do all good things. You may help people, donate whatever you have etc etc. But when the whole world is ending, even these things become meaningless. When the end is sure, when all these acts become meaningless, I would like to spend that most precious, most fearful hour with my loved one. I like to get immersed in talking and talking and talking so much, so that we forget that the world is ending in one hour. I feel, staying with your loved ones at the hour of crisis gives you the strength and peace of mind required to face such situations.

There are times when you are frustrated with the things happening in your life and across world. Many times, we may feel that it would be nice to get in touch with some super natural powers and get out of this earth. But, what’s the point in getting in touch with the universe when it is of no use to the mankind. It means so meaningless. We are born on this world with some purpose. A man who wants to do something should try to achieve here itself. Life should not be taken for granted. Though, we say, life is very short, it is long enough to make our contribution to count on this earth. Many philosophers, scientists, saints have contributed to the world within their life span. It is always better live in reality than to live in an imaginary world.

Some friends and I were talking the other day about the type of things we like to watch on television. Most of my friends are really into “Reality Shows”, but not me! First of all I don’t feel there is much “Reality” in these shows, and second, I have Enough Reality and Drama in my life as it is! Give me a good sitcom any day! I need the break and a few laughs to put myself into a fun and meaningless trance for at least a half of an hour. Without a little laughter – Life is Nothing BUT Reality! I’ll take the laughter!
